Picture that i like

Hi everyone!

Today I'm going to talk about a photo that I like.

In this photo they are appreciated eight of the members of the Chilean soccer team, who are encouraged to run after Alexis Sánchez converted the penalty with which Chile won the first Copa America in its history.

The photo becomes even more special when it is perceived it looks
that the memorial of the National Stadium made in dedication to the political prisoners that housed the sports coliseum during the first months of the military dictatorship of Augusto Pinochet. This memorial says: “a town without memory is a town without future”.

The photo was taken by Rodrigo Sáenz, a graphic reporter for Agencia Uno, who was in charge of capturing that magical moment of the cold night of July 4, 2015.

This photo I like because I consider myself an passionate of soccer, and I feel that achieves capture in a great way the emotion that many passionate soccer fans feel when seeing the first soccer crown obtained by Chile. On the other hand, I believe that the photo makes a reflection to the one who sees it on the disparate moments that have been lived in the National Stadium, in which on the one hand has been celebrated the achievement of a sporting achievement, and on the other they have been lived atrocious moments of political violence.
